The traplinked traps use the so called LoRaWAN connectivity to connect to the internet via the LoRa Gateway. This means maximum signal range (up to 300m radius) and resilience for you.
You can use the LoRa field tester to measure the signal strength of the wireless network at the trap locations to optimize the placement of the gateway.
Note: A SIM card to connect the gateway to the Internet is included in the set. This incurs a monthly fee of 8.5 euros.
