Founder’s Associate (m/f/d)

traplinked is revolutionising an entire industry. As the leading technology company for digital pest control we develop IoT solutions that combine animal welfare, efficiency and sustainability. Our systems – a combination of smart hardware, reliable firmware and an intuitive SaaS cloud – are in use with pest controllers across Europe. We are growing fast and professionalising steadily. To manage that growth and drive new strategic initiatives, we are looking for you as Founder’s Associate and right hand to our founders.

Your role

In this position you are not an assistant but a strategic partner and hands-on problem solver. You work directly with Tim, Moritz and Sergei and get an unfiltered view of how a tech company is built and scaled. Your learning curve will be extremely steep – ideal if you want to found a company yourself one day or take on a leadership role.

Your tasks

• Strategic sparring: You prepare the basis for management decisions, produce reporting for shareholders and support the preparation of funding rounds or strategic partnerships.
• Project management (PMO): You take independent ownership of business-critical special projects. That might be introducing new software tools (CRM/ERP), optimising the supply chain or coordinating a product launch.
• Process optimisation: You analyse existing workflows in sales, operations or HR, identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions (no-code and automation welcome).
• Market & analysis: You carry out competitor analyses and assess new market potential for our IoT solutions at home and abroad.
• Communication: You prepare leadership meetings, track OKRs and KPIs and make sure decisions are actually implemented by the team.

Your profile

• Education: You hold an above-average degree (business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering or similar).
• Experience: You bring 1–3 years of professional experience in a dynamic environment (for example consulting, venture capital or a high-growth startup). Outstanding graduates with relevant internships are equally welcome.
• Mindset: You have a pronounced founder’s mentality. You do not wait to be given tasks, you see work and get it done. You are highly analytical, structured and keep your bearings even in chaos.
• Tech affinity: You understand digital business models (SaaS/IoT) and are thoroughly at home in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides.
• Language: You communicate fluently in German and English at a professional level.
