A great deal changes in pest control from 1 July 2026: The BAuA (German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) has decided together with the German Environment Agency that anticoagulants (poison baits) may no longer be used the way they have been.
Permanent baiting independent of infestation – that is, placing poison baits without a prior infestation – is prohibited from that date. From 2026 anticoagulant poison baits may only be used where an infestation has been established beforehand.
As an alternative, the BAuA explicitly recommends digital, remotely monitored trap systems such as those from traplinked.

The requirements of the BAuA (German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) keep getting stricter. From July 2026 the preventive use of poison baits will be heavily restricted. Pharmaceutical operations have to switch to toxin-free monitoring (non-tox). With our digital snap traps you convert your operation to be legally compliant today.
