The whole farm at a glance
A gateway at the farmyard reaches up to 300 meters, less through a lot of steel and concrete. The stations transmit to it via LoRa, and only the gateway needs internet, via cellular or Wi-Fi.

Locations
Barns and grain stores are far apart. Every point reports without anyone driving out to it.
High humidity in the barn is no problem for the modules: they are water- and dust-protected.
Station reports: quietDust in the grain silo, thick concrete walls: the alert still arrives reliably in the app.
Station reports: quietWhere bait used to lie out for months, each station now reports on its own, with no poison at all.
Station reports: quietFar from the farmyard and rarely visited. You only have to drive out when something is reported.
Station reports: quietThe robust modules withstand fluctuating outdoor temperatures. Battery and radio are monitored continuously.
Station reports: quietOften far from the barns. Every point reports without anyone driving out to it.
Catch reportedAudits and certifications
QS, organic certification and IFS require proof over time, not the state on a single day. The software logs every alarm, every battery change and every maintenance task, with time stamp and person responsible. For the audit, you export the period with one click.

BAuA requirements since July 2026
The requirements of the BAuA (German Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) are getting stricter and stricter: since July 2026, the preventive use of poison bait has been severely restricted. On farms, bait often lies out for months, from the barn to the grain store. Since July, this is no longer permitted; reporting traps cover the same points without poison.
Frequently asked questions
Large areas, sprawling barns and grain stores make manual trap checks on farms extremely time-consuming. With traplinked's digital systems, you monitor all control points 24/7 in real time. You or your pest controller only have to go out when a trap (e.g. the JERRY CATCH or TrapMe ) or a bait box ( JERRY BAIT ) has actually reported something. This saves a huge amount of walking, cuts personnel costs drastically and stops a rat or mouse infestation before it can spread.
We know that agriculture gets dusty, wet and rough. Our hardware is designed precisely for these harsh environments. High humidity in the pig barn, dust in the grain silo or fluctuating temperatures outdoors are no problem for our robust modules. They are water- and dust-protected. The battery level and radio connection of every station are monitored continuously: if one fails, you get an alert.
Missing Wi-Fi is the norm in rural areas, which is why our systems work completely independently of it. We rely on state-of-the-art, extremely long-range radio technologies and set up a local LoRaWAN network on your farm together with you. This means: even from deep basements or through the thick concrete walls of silos, the traps send their alarms reliably and securely directly to your traplinked App.
QS, organic certification and IFS require proof over time, not the state on a single day. On sprawling farms, that is almost impossible to keep by hand; the history per station, on the other hand, is created at no extra effort. The software automatically logs every alarm, every battery change and every maintenance task: time stamp per event, response with the person responsible, station location plan. For the audit, you export the history for the desired period with one click and present it.

On farms, bait often lies out for months, from the barn to the grain store. Since July, this is no longer permitted; reporting traps cover the same points without poison. Agricultural businesses must switch to poison-free monitoring (non-tox). With our digital snap traps, you can convert your business to comply with the law today. You avoid unnecessary poison, protect livestock from secondary poisoning and at the same time meet animal welfare requirements, because every catch is reported immediately and the trap can be emptied promptly.
