Your case, in your numbers

With manual monitoring, you mostly pay for inspections that open traps with nothing in them. With digital monitoring, someone only goes where a station has sent an alert.

And what does digital cost for you?

That depends on your service provider and the number of monitoring points, so no calculator can show it. Send us your contract: we will work out the digital option for your case, with your current provider or a partner.

How the calculator works: manual time = stations × minutes per station × inspections. Digital time = alerting stations × minutes per alerting station × inspections, so the same number of visits, but only where something was reported. Costs only appear once you enter a price. Schematic calculation, not a commitment.

Beyond the budget

What changes besides the cost

Documentation

Today: paper checklists with gaps, stress before every audit.

Digital: complete and automatic, for audits under IFS, HACCP and more.

Response time

Today: an infestation is only noticed at the next routine check.

Digital: 24/7 monitoring with an alert on your phone before anything escalates.

Use of poison

Today: preventive permanent baiting: bad for the environment and being phased out.

Digital: poison-free monitoring, bait only once an infestation is confirmed.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers

How accurate is the calculator?

As accurate as the values you enter. It starts with our worked example of 20 stations, 3 of which report. With your station count, your interval and the price from your contract, it becomes your case. It remains a schematic calculation, not a commitment.

Why doesn't the calculator show a price for the digital option?

Because it depends on your service provider and your site. Digital monitoring points are usually offered through the pest controller who deploys the technology. Upload your contract and we will work out the digital option for your case.

Do I have to switch my service provider?

No. In many cases, your pest controller stays the same and only the monitoring points go digital.

We have several sites. Does the calculator handle that?

Yes, enter the number of sites. If your sites differ a lot in size, it is best to calculate each site separately, or upload all contracts and we will compare them.

Are my entries saved?

No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser, nothing is sent to us.
